Skin Pack Packaging

Skin pack or skin packaging is a form of packaging where a product ( or products) is placed on a piece of treated paperboard or cardboard, and a thin film of plastic is placed over top of them. The plastic is affixed to the board with heat and vacuum ensuring a tight molded fit around the product.The skinpacked sheet can then be cut into individual units.

Skin packaging somewhat resembles blister packaging, the major difference being that the plastic is formed around the product instead of being preformed.

There is no expensive molds required, start up is fairly quick after your artwork has been decided.
