Blister Packaging

Blister Packs come in a variety of shapes and styles, but basically there are 2 types.

The 1st type is a thermoformed cavity (blister) which is then attached to a printed blister card with heat and pressure. The front and back of the blister card can be printed.

The 2nd type of blister pack is a clamshell which has the product and information card sandwiched 2 layers of plastic. This can be hinged or not, sealed by hand with buttons or welded shut so hopefully no one but the end consumer get gain entry into the blister pack.

The film used for blister packaging is usually clear PVC.
